DJ Lolly

DJ Lolly has been spinning records since the early '90s, establishing himself as a versatile and influential figure in the underground music scene. He began his journey mixing Breakbeat Hardcore, House, Hip-Hop, and early Jungle, teaming up with some of his closest friends to set up sound systems at venues across the UK. Their efforts quickly paid off as bookings began pouring in.

Between 1992 and 1995, Lolly focused heavily on Jungle, immersing himself in the fast-paced, bass-heavy sound that was taking over the underground. This period shaped his technical skills and understanding of energy management on the dancefloor.

By 1995–96, he was drawn to the emerging House & Garage sound, frequently raving at iconic clubs such as Gass, Legends, Aquarium, Speed, Mars Bar, Jungle Fever, Metalheadz, and Bluenote. These legendary venues became his second home, where he absorbed the sounds that would define UK Garage culture.

Lolly's talent has taken him around the world, with DJ sets in Portugal, France, Ibiza, Tenerife, Greece, Cyprus, and beyond. His international experience brought fresh perspectives while maintaining his underground UK roots.

He held down a show on Life FM for an impressive eight years and spent four years on the award-winning Freek FM. He's also made guest appearances on various radio, internet stations and DAB stations, spreading the garage gospel across the airwaves.

His extensive career includes performances for legendary promotions like Pandemonium, Elevation, Liberty, Exodus, Bassbox, Pure X, Desire, Raging Rabbit, Park-end, Knowledge Mag, Technology, Essence of Chi, Back 2 Life, Uncertified, Batdance, Jungle-Jam, Lazy Sunday, Flava, Technicality, Sidewinder, Garage Nation, Entice, Pasha, Garage Love, Soul Fusion, Legacy, UKG Festival, and We Are FSTVL — and that's just scratching the surface!
